Polk County Family Resource Centers are a place for area families to connect with different services and assistance as well as other parents for support.

Our Family Resource Centers are here to provide information on community resources, referrals to services, or assistance with the completion of applications and other paperwork. All services provided by Polk County are free to the public.

In partnership with the Crookston Library, Polk County FRC is providing several activities and events for families to bring their children, including the Summer Library Experience, Storytime, and STEMsational.

Some of our core services include Economic Assistance, Child Support, and Career Force. Stop by and let us assist you.

Play & Learn

Polk County FRC and community partners will host "Play and Learn" and other child development activities each month.

Play is the path young children take to learning. Children learn best when meaningful play is both challenging and fun! Play & Learn follows the “science of play” and specializes in creating intentional play environments to set children up for both learning success (IQ) and emotional development (EQ).

Play and Learn is just one of the many programs offered by FRC and area community partners to strengthen parenting skills and enhance parent leadership development.
