Complaint Sources

Some of these complaints are follow up investigations that originated with the patrol division of the office. Some are direct calls from the general public to the Investigators of the office. Others come in report form from other agencies (i.e. Social Services). Complaints/Crimes are primarily investigated through the interview and if relevant, interrogation, of victims, witnesses and suspects as well as the gathering and examination of various forms of evidence.
