To obtain a snowmobile license and registration, the owner must provide:
- Snowmobile make
- Snowmobile model
- Snowmobile year
- Snowmobile serial number
- Snowmobile engine size
- Applicants driver’s license
- Signed bill of sale from owner
To renew your snowmobile the owner must provide:
- MN registration number on the side of the snowmobile
- Applicants driver’s license
* ATTENTION: Anyone operating on groomed or state-in-aid trails must have a MN Trail Permit. If you purchase the permit at the time of registration you can get a 3 year permit for $31. If your registration is not due, you can only get a one year permit each year until your registration is due. The one year stickers are $16 per year.
