Polk County Environmental Services consists of the Planning & Zoning, Solid Waste Transfer Station, Recycling, and Household Hazardous Waste Departments.

Environmental Service is located at the Polk County Transfer Station in Crookston, MN. The Transfer Station is located at 320 Ingersoll Ave. (South end of town in the Industrial Park).

Environmental Service office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Transfer Station operates on Monday 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. All large loads must be across the scale one-half hour before facility closing time. The Environmental Services & Transfer Station are closed on weekends and national holidays.
