Polk County Coordinator’s Office
The Coordinator’s Office provides quality
internal support services to Polk County departments and activities to ensure coordinated,
accountable, efficient and cost effective use of resources.
The County Coordinator is an appointed position by the County Board and manages
the affairs of the county under which the County Board has authority. Serves as
the Clerk to the Board and implements all Board actions and decisions. Prepares
the annual county budget for presentation to the Board, monitors expenditures throughout
the year to assure compliance with approved budget. The Coordinator’s office is
responsible for the county Human Resources, Information Technology and Facilities
Management departments.
